TOURS PRICES

Rates are 70 Euros per hour, maximum number of people 8

I have a Van which can carry 8 peoples

Or if some individuals want to explore more deeply the battlefields, I can use my SUV, with maximum  4 people

I can pick you up at Charles De Gaulle airport, or at the nearest Railway Station near Chateau Thierry of Belleau Wood, if you stay in Paris, I can forward you train schedule for the day you  come!

 

For people who will stay more than One Day, I can provide good advertisement about B&B, Hotels, restaurants, in Chateau Thierry, or nearby into the area, where I’ ll be giving tours (from Chateau Thierry to Verdun or Meuse Argonne)

 

I’ll charge (120 euros) if you are coming from the Airport, ( Charles De Gaulle) which is 60 kilometers from home!  I’ll be waiting for you at your Terminal! (Just time to get there, fuel and parking)

There are different tours prices for a Day or a half Day on different Battlefield’s!

 

Price are the same for the groups as for Individuals!

 

I’ll not charge if i'm taking you at the nearest railway Station of Chateau Thierry or Belleau Wood area!

 

So a half Day tour, in the area of Chateau Thierry (Belleau Wood, Marne river, Ourcq River, Fismes (The Vesle River) or Soissons, will be about:

300 Euros half day

600 Euros full Day,

 

For Meuse Argonne sectors and Verdun area, 800 Euros, for full Day! Including transportation, when I say full day, it will be a half day (since it is about 4 hours’ drive to go there and back) The best for Meuse Argonne is to stay for a night there!

 

Research for relatives, if you are not coming on Battlefield’s, cost would be about 40 Euros, an hour, in addition, I can propose you a personalized tour if you want to come into the area, to walk on the footsteps of your relative.

Anyway, I’ll study all request and I’ll propose you a price, only if I can find, information, and stuff about your relatives, no charge will be done, before studying  the case of your relative, I’ll propose you a complete file, with photos from 1918, maps, and his unit history, or personal story, and it will be sent by email or post.

 

All your reservations, need a deposit, about 30% of total price!

The deposit will be not reimbursed if the tour is cancelled at the last minute!

Payments can be done through Paypal by Credit Card to my professional account ( I'll give you instruction) or also cash in Euros.
